This single-origin sencha is made from Okumidori green tea produced in Wazuka-cho, Kyoto, the main production area of Uji tea, which has a history of 800 years. Finished by Hekisuien, a long-established tea wholesaler established in Kyoto for 150 years. It is a typical Uji green tea with a low fire aroma that brings out the aroma of freshly brewed tea.
The characteristic of Uji tea is a soft, slightly thickened taste and a full-bodied, mellow flavor that combines sweetness and umami, followed by the refreshing taste of Okumidori. The second roast is also recommended, when the flavor is thicker. Enjoy a different kind of Uji tea that only a rare single-origin tea can offer.
Contents: 30g/50g
Recommended brewing method
<Enjoy at multiple brewing
Steep 3g of tea leaves in 100ml of water at 60℃ for about 90 seconds. For the second brewing, increase the temperature of the water slightly for 30 seconds, and thereafter increase the temperature and brewing time. The more tea leaves you use, the richer the flavor will be.
Adjust the amount of tea leaves, hot water, and temperature to taste.
