This gray-blue glazed cup is by Kyoto-based ceramic artist Asami Maeda. The glaze has a subdued color like that of antique white porcelain, and is decorated with a pattern created by the "Itchin" technique of hand-painting. The floral cloisonne design, which is typical of the Kyoto artist, is painted on the cup, and the Japanese expression that retains the flavor of the hand is an attractive feature of the cup.

It has a sufficient capacity of about 190ml, so how about using it as a mug? A matching medium plate is also available, so you can use it in combination.
