White glaze tea utensils by Yukiko Saito of Edagetsu Kiln are now in stock.

Yukiko Saito, ceramic artist and tea master, will be selling white glazed teaware from 11:00 a.m. (Japan time) on Saturday, 1/25. There are two types of shibori-dashi teapots: a plain teapot and a teapot with an arabesque peony carved on the lid.

This piece is attractive for its characteristically gentle, soft shapes created on the kick wheel, and for the subdued colors and rich, expressive glaze tones that are reminiscent of antique pottery.
